Services & Programs
Pennsylvania’s new mandatory managed care program started Jan. 1, 2018 for dual-eligible individuals and individuals with physical disabilities – serving more people in communities rather than in facilities, giving them the opportunity to work, spend more time with their families, and experience an overall better quality of life. CHC will improve services for hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians, including older Pennsylvanians and individuals with disabilities.
Cambria County has been a part of the Southwest Pennsylvania implementation that started in January, 2018 and Magellan staff continue to work closely with state and local officials to implement this new service. In January, 2019, Bucks County, Delaware County and Montgomery County are scheduled for Phase Two of the statewide implementation and Magellan staff are preparing for this new service in these counties.
